DIGITAL TURBULENCE RECEIVES THREE EMMY NOMINATIONS

Nominations for Outstanding Achievement in Camera, Editing, and Children's Programming

SAN JOSE, CA April 27, 2004--Producers at Digital Turbulence, a Palo Alto based production company, have received three 2004 Emmy nominations for their work in the production of innovative television programming.

The Digital Turbulence crew received a nomination in the "Outstanding Achievement in a Children/Youth Segment" category for their work producing and editing "Tech Talk with Socko." The segment explains advanced technological concepts to children and is hosted by a talking sock who goes by the name, Socko.

The production crew listed in the Emmy nomination are Douglas DeVore, Wendy Van Wazer, Karen Adams, Dave Robertson, Jen Sunglao, Michael Heath, and Chris Pearce.

Wendy Van Wazer. also received a nomination for Outstanding Editing in a Program or Series for her editing work across a collection of different television shows airing on KNTV-NBC11 and the Media Center in Palo Alto.

Douglas DeVore. received a nomination for Outstanding Camerawork in a Program or Series for his videography work across a collection of different television shows airing on KNTV-NBC11 and the Media Center in Palo Alto.

The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) awards the Emmy, the most prestigious, peer-judged honor in television, for outstanding creative achievement within a designated chapter area. Digital Turbulence's work aired in the chapter area that includes Hawaii, Northern California, and Nevada.
